i wish devs would copy the death penalty though. i miss the challenge games used to provide for me. it meant something to me when i beat a game back in the day, now anybody can as long as they have time, little to no skill required
jealous, i hope so bad the extra content comes to consoles
wasnt nearly as hard either. having said that though i preferred dark souls becuase of the world lol. either way, hands down the two best games this gen.
seeing him like that, i actually dont think he looks bad at all anymore. i could support this one. admittedly i still prefer the old one but he is solid now. in the end though it was/is irrelevant, i have planned to buy this day 1 since it was announced
man this series started off in the right direction and then took steps back with every sequel.
what the series needed was more armor and weapon options, an amazing story with high production values, a deeper more expansive world to explore, more combat abilities to unlock and more meaningful consequences for your choices.....
those changes imo would have made fable a triple a series and for the most part fable 1 had all that just not as refined as it coul...
i hate when they boast about the "quantity" of quest.....all that usually tells me is that most quest are gonna be lame fetch quest with minimal story.....
id trade all 100 of those quests for 5 high quality, lengthy quests in a heartbeat....
ha lol overpriced my *ss. sony's tv's blow away all competition by miles except samsung which are similarly priced. only those needing glasses would make such a statement. their tvs dont sell becuase your average consumer isnt educated enough about what to look for in a tv. so long as their tv is a "flatscreen" they assume is going to look nice, thus lg, viz, insignia, panasonic, and all those other crap brands rule the market.

the witcher 2, dragons dogma, and darksiders 2.......no summer drought for me. but usually i hate it too. not that i game that much in the summer months but i like having at least 1 or 2 games for slow days

now what you said again would make perfect sense lol unfortunately i read somewhere that spark is now using the unreal engine instead of the mt framework i believe it was that powered the previous games. so no, the heavy lifting isn't done and that def worries me a little. still though, the trailer was promising and if thats the main character, i like him already so things look good at the moment. guess all we can do is wait, they have my attention though.
not for companies to remain. loss of profit for a quarter here and a quarter there is fine, this is the 4th straight year sony has posted losses. not fine.

your logic makes sense but i think capcom has more to lose on this one. they dont have many franchises left to bank on becuase they keep screwing them up. LP2 sold poorly but 1 bad game is something you can bounce back from, screw fans twice and the series becomes as relevant as sonic ( mind you im a fan but lets be honest, nobody hypes a sonic game anymore ).
and again devs bounce back from 1 poor game and will get other projects from others publishers ( these guys, slant...
it sounds awesome on paper, they suck as devs though so we will see. it already seems like an improvement from lp2 though.
lastly why does capcom keep handing off their franchises to devs with poor track records?????
interesting read. personally i hope he begins to pick up third party exclusive support and helps the first party support step it up. i love my 360 but imo its only real fault is the lack of impressive first/third party exclusives. if he could help ms do that, then i dont think the 360 could be beat it any way. its ui already trumps the others by miles, hell any 1 of the 3 are better than nintendo and sony's.

true but im talking millions in sales. 1 million is good but not very impressive considering the quality of the titles
probably, all they need to do is make it old school, with an actual good story and challenging game-play. add 1 other feature to make it unique and give it graphics that are maybe cell shaded, lastly take out the homing shit becuase that makes it too easy and done, reboot successful.
i agree it wont likely sell that well in the states but hey, at least they sold 2 copies to you and me ;)
